Melihat perkembangan CNC yang cepat dan luas, skill apa yang memiliki peluang yang lebih besar dalam bidang pekerjaan?
Jawaban: Saat kita melakukan perubahan dengan distruksi, kita tidak akan pernah tahu apa yang ada di depan kita, tapi kalau secara umum lebih ke kemampuan kita beradaptasi, contohnya di situasi pandemi ini kita membicarakan soal persiapan apa yang akan terjadi dimasa yang akan datang, kita melihat /menganggap bahwa Amerika itu negara paling prepare itupun tidak prepare dalam menghadapi distruksi seperti pandemi.
Menurut saya yang lebih berperan disini soft skill, itu sangat penting untuk beradaptasi. Ada 3 hal yang penting, yaitu bagaimana melakukan critical thinking, creativity, dan fleksibilitas kognisi (kemampuan kita untuk mempelajari suatu hal yang baru). Saya sendiri lebih percaya bahwa, yang akan berperan lebih besar untuk menghadapi perubahan perkembangan teknologi ini yaitu kemampuan beradaptasi.

Apakah cocok penggunaan mesin CNC untuk usaha mandiri (skala kecil) di Indonesia?
Jawaban: Sangat bisa, saya di 2 tahun terakhir memperhatikan. Mungkin disekitar tahun 90an awal, ada gerakan namanya riprap (membuat CNC) dan sekarang resource nya sudah sangat mudah, jadi kita ke tokopedia barangnya ada tinggal jitabl belajar. Komponennya, materialnya ada banyak di internet, dan ini usaha kecil / UMKM di bidanga apa.
Sekarang itu menjamur, saya melihat untuk ukm itu mesin CNC portable, itu semuanya bisa dirakit sendiri, ada kapasitas kecil yang dibuat dengan alumunium profile karena memang tuntutan rigibity nya tidak tinggi terutama ini banyak digunakan oleh industri-industri kreatif.

Berapa biaya cost untuk membuat CNC untuk usaha industri lokal misalnya peternakan?
Jawaban: Basis teknologi dari CNC adalah motion control, kita bisa mengontrol gerakan itu bisa dipakai untuk apa saja. Jadi misalnya kita mau membuat robot, namun misalkan untuk dipeternakan contoh mesin untuk memberi makan yang bisa muter diatas kandang, itu agak susah. Kalo kita bicara insinyur itu harus ada dimensi, seberapa besar. Ini sebuah pertanyaan yang butuh detailing untuk menjawabnya, cukup sulit.
